GRAPE VARIETY: A BLEND OF TEMPRANILLO AND GRENACHE GRAPES
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16-18C
ORIGIN: LA RIOJA
CONTAINER SIZE: 75cl.
HARVESTING: The grapes were hand harvested into 200kg containers. We use traditional viticulture techniques by bush pruning 80% of the vines and 20% by double cordon. The grapes come from 15 different vineyard plots in a 10 hectare area. The average age of those vines being approximately 40 years old.
FLAVOUR INTENSITY: 1.ACIDITY 2.BODY 3. NASAL VARIANCE
PRODUCTION: Light cold crushing for four days. Fermented between 24-26C. Aged for 15 months in French oak Barrels and then bottled before sale.
AROMA/NOSE: Licorice, Cherry and Smoked.
PAIRING: This wine’s freshness and roundness mean it would pair well with red meat dishes or soft cow’s cheese.
